What Are Green-e® Certified RECs?
Green-e® is an independent certification program for renewable energy sold in the voluntary market. The Green-e® logo identifies products that meet the program’s high environmental and consumer protection standards.
A Renewable Energy Credit (REC) represents the environmental benefits of 1 megawatt-hour (MWh) of renewable energy that can be paired with electricity.

Hudson Energy Green-e® Certified RECs
Hudson Energy proudly offers our business customers Hudson Energy RECs, which are Green-e® certified and meet the REC requirements for LEED points. They are verified through the nation’s leading independent consumer protection program for the sale of renewable energy in the retail market and do not contain electricity.
